Couples Painting Party
Every first Friday of the month at Paraoa Brewing-Whangaparaoa - 8-9pm
Bring your partner along and create two paintings together on canvas, using balloons dipped in acrylic paint on a freshly poured wet background.
The Process: Making complimentary paintings. No skills or experience needed.
Together you decide on the colours. Both paintings will have the same colours but different compositions. Each of you will pick a colour for your own painting's background, from those decided upon, and pour it over your canvas. You will then create an abstract painting by dipping a balloon in the other colours and placing one stroke on your own canvas and the other to contribute to your partner's painting. You can stop whenever you think your painting is complete.
Tickets only include the painting experience. Food and drinks are not included.
